Talk is Cheap
I love how this is is a total girl boss look. Just saying, you can’t touch ANYONE in a black turtleneck, instant boss lady status. And the leather skirt is so rocker too (the exact one is linked above!!) This is my last super wintery look (even though we totally got a cold front this week!) I am going full speed ahead towards spring! Yay!!
Okay, I just want to talk about something that’s been on my mind heavily lately. This blogging world is not an easy one. I have found many times it is ruthless and easy to get lost in the ‘competition’ of it all, dying for more followers, spending more money… People are consistently following people just to gain them as a follower, only to unfollow them later. I have seen people completely rip off people’s ideas. I’ve seen people pay money to get involved in group giveaways and pay to get ghost followers. There are numerous other tricks and I am not okay with them. I want people to read me that are excited about what I have to post, that matters much more to me than the number of followers I have. Every comment I leave is completely honest; everything I giveaway I have used and thoroughly enjoy and every person I follow I get excited about seeing their posts. I feel like too often people forget about their passion or even get into this for the wrong reasons and I just don’t think that’s cool. You don’t have to wear the exact same brands and have thousand of followers to be relevant, sure everyone wants more, but if I can reach even one person, that is more than enough for me. To each their own, but at the end of the day I am proud of my honesty and my ability to say I have earned what I have.
