DIY with Printiki
Hey guys! I am super excited to partner with Printiki for today's post! It is no secret that I love to take photo, I mean obviously...and having photos around me has always been a priority for creating a happy space for me. This is currently in my room at school and it was the first room I really got to create from scratch-on a budget of course. I knew I wanted to have a ton of photos of my favorite memories surrounding me. I mean, I do get homesick and being able to see these happy moments is sometimes the exact motivation I need.
Like I said, I was decorating on a budget, but I wanted it to look good. SO, I knew I needed to stay away from frames because those can get pricey really fast (and it really limits the amount of pictures you can have) and I wanted to get away from the traditional, messy bulletin board look. So, I decided on this!
- A bulletin board (I have had this one forever, but any one will work!)
- A USA map (This is the one I used!)
- Double sided tape
- Printiki Prints (I used the square M!)
I arranged the photos in a pattern that I liked and stuck them on with double sided tape; this will keep them from getting pinholes and it'll give you a much cleaner look! However, as you can see the map is done with pushpins. I'm not sure if the tape would hold this poster! And that is pretty much it. I ordered 30 photos and as you can see all of them were not even used! This is def a cheap decoration piece!
The prints I used from Printiki were super high quality and I love how they're aimed toward printing your favorite instagram photos with the square shape! It's a fun update to the typical 4x6 (and I think they look a lot better on their own as well!)
I hope y'all enjoyed this fun DIY! Let me know if you adapt this one to YOUR personal style. Also, comment below if you want to see a room tour of this room before I move out of it!
