coming back necessities
It’s back to school season! While I am a huge fan of basic school supplies (who isn’t) there are a few things that I personally need that you can’t necessarily find in your average school supplies section. I buy these new every year and I cannot have a successful year without them.
An agenda: I live and die by my agenda. It holds my entire life, from things personal like coffee with a friend or things terrifying like that looming exam one. I have to have an agenda that cute and practical with a lot of space to write a lot of things. I always enjoy the agendas from Target and Barnes and Noble, they are really inexpensive and exactly what I need. This next sentence may kill me in the blogger universe, but I am reallllllly not a fan of Erin Condren planners, I am very type A, but that’s just too much for me to handle. Plus, risking using a sticker in the wrong place sends me into overdrive.
A huge tote: my totes go with me everywhere, which means I need one stylish enough to work at a decent dinner and practical enough for class. I usually need to have a lot with me, plus a lot of ‘just in case’ things (hello, my name is Hannah, and I’m a planner) and this one is perfect to me. I am a huge fan of scrolling through target.com clearance and I stumbled across the above bag for thirteen dollars. Yeah, you read correctly. It honestly looks even better in person than it does online, and I got so many compliments on it today.
New sneakers: Ever since my first day of kindergarten, I walked through the door on the first day of school in a brand-new, out of the box, new shoe smell, pair of shoes. It’s a tradition I can’t bear to break and even though I’m not running around in PE class, it’s absolutely a necessity for me.
A water bottle (in some fashion): I proudly live a very busy life and it’s not secret that I thrive off of soda. BUT, I know I need water to, ya know, live so having a big flashy cup with a long straw makes sipping on water a thoughtless action throughout my day.
